About This Service
Iris AI provides automated phone answering services on behalf of residential apartment communities. By calling a property that uses Iris AI, or by opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to these terms.
Nature of the Service
Iris AI uses an AI-powered system to answer calls, resolve common requests, and route information to the appropriate property management staff. While the system is designed to be accurate and helpful, it is automated and may not resolve every request. For emergencies or urgent matters, callers are directed to appropriate emergency resources (such as 911) or the property's on-call staff.
SMS Text Messaging Program
Program Description: By calling a property that uses Iris AI and verbally requesting information during that call, you consent to receive one or more text messages containing the information requested — such as a maintenance work order link, rental application link, tour confirmation, unit photos or a virtual tour link, or a callback confirmation from property staff.
Opt-In Method: Consent to this program is collected verbally during a phone call, not through a website form. Your request and our verbal confirmation that a text will follow are captured through the call recording and transcript.
Message Frequency: Varies based on the requests you make during a call; typically one to a few messages per call.
Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any message at any time to opt out of future messages. You will receive one confirmation message after opting out.
Help: Reply HELP to any message, or use the contact information below, for assistance.
No Third-Party Sharing: Mobile opt-in information collected through this program will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Call Recording
Calls to properties using Iris AI may be recorded and/or transcribed for quality assurance, accuracy, and service improvement purposes, and to document consent for our SMS program as described above.
No Guarantee of Outcome
Iris AI facilitates communication between callers and property management but does not guarantee specific outcomes, including but not limited to apartment availability, application approval, or response times, beyond what is explicitly stated during a call.
Emergencies
Iris AI is not a substitute for emergency services. In the event of a fire, medical emergency, or immediate danger, callers are instructed to contact 911 directly. Iris AI and its operators are not responsible for delays or failures in emergency response resulting from use of this automated system.
Limitation of Liability
Iris AI and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this automated answering service or SMS program, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the service, or continued participation in the SMS program, after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
